Merry Christmas to everyone as we are wrapping up a great year. Big shotout to everyone who participated in the adopt a child event this year. Word was it was off the hook and what better way to end the year than by giving back to those who didn't think they would get something let alone have someone. I hope as everyone is enjoying the holiday they are with the ones we care bout most.

The 2008 season was one of the best in our team's history. Anyone interested in film for pro tryouts or their own collection please see information below:

$5 per game

$50 for the season ($20 value!!!)

(15 games consisting of preseason game vs Rebels, 8 regular season games, and 6 playoff games)

Tough Season

Well it was a tough season. I was hoping that you guys would win it all again. Think of it this way, it was a wake up call and a lesson learned. I am sure you will bounce back. You all play for a well organized and supporting organization. I have seen that for myself. I attempted to join you guys on your quest to the championship in the beginning of the 08 season, but was unable to. I had just moved to CT from NC and had to get my fam settled in. I had attend a few sessions at BAD in March but couldn't finish due to issues. But now.....ohhh....boy now, they all settled in and it's time to get back on the field. I am not sure what position I will try out for but, it doesn't matter to me. But never the less I am glad to join you guy's. Oh....an Perquan know what i can do....Mr. Armstrong, please post the preseason work out for players like me.

Off Season Training

Connecticut Giants Off-Season Training

Better Athletic Development is offering all current and incoming CT Giants players to begin their off-season conditioning on December 1, 2008. The focus is to prepare the CT Giants players for the upcoming 2009 season, pre-season mini-camp April 1, mandatory Rookie Combine on Saturday, April 25 and the mandatory Veterans Combine on May 2. Practice begins Tuesday, May 5 at Jonathan Law High School.

An emphasis will be placed on building football speed, agility, quickness, stamina, strength and power through proper warm up and dynamic flexibility exercises followed by several core, strength, power, Olympic lifts and plyometric exercises and circuits. All players will receive a position specific training program.

Coach Gendron wants every player to maximize their training and has offered to provide discounted training sessions with the purchase of the best nutritional supplementation on the planet to complement a players hard work. I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! It is a time to spend with fam and take a little time to slow down our fast paced lives. It comes with regret that I will not be able to partake in albany. At our game against the townies i rolled my ankle going downhill. I went to the emergency room to have my foot xrayed and they were unable to verify a fracture so i have an appointment for December 1st to have my xrays reviewed and also get an MRI.I'm not happy about this but the truth of the matter is I can't even stand without being in escruciating pain. I'm on crutches..(theres a reason behind this story )....What I'm asking my dawgs to do is bring me back by winning this game so we can go out to some warm weather in January and ball out !!!!
